Everyone wants to have a great a$$ right? A butt that looks great in a pair of jeans or in your stretchy yoga pants. To not feel like you need to wear long shirts or sweaters to cover up your rear.
I never really used to think about it that much. I had a perfectly fine butt - not perfect, but pretty good, until I had kids, and then all of a sudden it seemed to droop, get flatter, sag. What the hell happened? How did getting pregnant, stretching my belly, cause my ass to sag?
Like with so many other things, I've discovered in recent years that the solution to many of our complaints about our bodies and how they're shaped, is gaining muscle. Because it's muscle that shapes your body. No matter how much weight you lose - or gain - it won't change the shape of your butt, just it's size. And of course there's a lot more to it than aesthetics, your butt is responsible for much of what you do every day - even though we spend much of the day sitting on it. ;)
